What ist NFC?
NFC (Near Field Communication) is a further development of the RFID technology. NFC enables a secure and fast wireless connection between two devices. The storage capacity of NFC tags depends on the chip type, but the most common is usually under 1 KB. This may seem like a limitation, but in reality, thanks to the NDEF standard, that’s enough. Just a few bytes for amazing features. For example, one of the most common functions in marketing is writing a URL to a website.
This feature is similar to a QR code but contains a large amount of data and is useful for reporting and campaign analysis.

NFC Card - the digital business card
A very interesting property of NFC tags is that they do not require a direct power source as they are activated directly by the magnetic field of the NFC sensor of the phone or device reading the tag.
